One day in 1971, Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman was watching his wife, Barbra, make breakfast on a waffle iron when inspiration struck. He swapped the dough for rubber, and the waffle outsole was born. Not only does it offer traction, durability, and classic Nike style, but it also proves that every day can be awesome.
