The 1460 is the original Dr. Martens boot. It's got all the unmistakable DM's DNA: 8 eyelets, classic Dr. Martens Smooth leather, ribbing, heel pull, yellow stitching and a comfortable air-cushioned sole. Now in more colors than ever.

CHARACTERISTICS

• A model born on 1/4/60. And hence its name. Our 8-eye boot has become a classic for six decades.
• Our Smooth skin is famous for its stiffness, especially at the beginning, and for its exceptional resistance. You can polish it to give it a shine or let it wear down and peel to add character.
• All of our Goodyear welt styles are sealed at 700ºC and reinforced with our iconic topstitching

• Upper: 100% Leather
• Lining and insole: 25% Leather, 75% Textile
• Sole: 100% PVC

CARE

Our Smooth leather has a reputation for being hard at first, but also for being a very durable leather. You can buff them to a shine and keep them looking like new, or you can let the scratches show to create your own characterful pair.
