Here, the durable sole supports our Original silhouette, crafted from strong Smooth leather and finished with the most recognizable details of our DNA: the yellow stitching and the heel pull tab with the AirWair logo.

CHARACTERISTICS

• A model born on April 1, 1960. Hence its name. Our 8-eyelet boot has become a classic over six decades.
• Our Smooth leather is famous for its stiffness, especially at first, and its exceptional durability. You can buff it to a shine or let it wear and peel to add character. It's your choice. Wipe it with a damp cloth and care for it with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish.
• All of our Goodyear-welted models are sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature stitching.

• Upper: 100% Leather
• Lining and insole: 60% Leather 40% Textile
• Sole: 100% PVC

CARE

• Our Smooth leather is known for being tough at first, but also for being a very durable leather. You can buff them to give them a shine and keep them looking new, or you can let the scratches show through to create your own unique pair.
• Clean it carefully with a damp cloth and spray it with DM's Ultra Protector.
